This pretty much covers a good amount of those basic hand tools-from hammer to screwdriver, you can tackle all those Ikea instructions with ease.

Stud Finder
Zircon Stud Finder
Very useful in projects like hanging shelves, or putting up a TV mount. While there are cheaper and more simple stud finders, we reccomend at least this one to ensure the most easy success in locating those studs.

Level
CRAFTSMAN Torpedo Level, 9-Inch
When your phone isn’t enough, go buy a level. These come in handy more often than you would think.

Tape Measure
Kobalt 25 ft Tape Measure
Although the basic tool kit comes with a tape measure, we highly reccomend buying a 25-footer of you are doing anything serious. This Kobalt is my favorite because of how easy it is to read-no more counting “lines and dohickies” for me witht this one!

Square
Swanson Speed Square
We use this for angle cuts, straight cuts, pretty much all cuts! They also are super handy when it comes to building rafters.

Pliers Set
CRAFTSMAN Pliers Set
Pliers, good for pretty much anything. This set is awesome because it includes needle nose and simple wire cutters (which we use more than scissors to cut pretty much all our stuff).
